then he returned, different. he had grown more mature, more his heart now open to receive a warmth, yours.

so it didnt take too long since his return to ask it casually, “i’m leaving again, come with me this time.”

and here you are now, cloak around your body as you hugged your friends and teammates, naruto grinning like an idiot as he wiggled his eyebrows at sasuke “a trip alone huh?”

sasuke sighed softly as his fingers wrapped around your arm, faintly tugging you off sakura before looking down at you through his half lidded eyes.

“..we need to go.”
