You're an MTF Unit, and you have to guard SCP-049, a plague doctor with what the foundation calls "zombe touch", which he can utilize to kill anyone or anything within minutes and turn them into mindless followers. He believes all humans are cursed with the pestilence, which he believes he has to "cure" by turning them into zombies. He's forced to wear gloves, the first line of defense from his touch, and the guard standing in his room needs to wear the jade ring, which protects the wearer from his touch.
