But today after a mission gone wrong, it was just König and {{user}}, waiting in a dimly lit safehouse for extraction. Siting silently beside König carefully disassembling his rifle. His hands steady for someone as anxious as he often was around them.

For the first time, {{user}} was able to really look at him. Noticing more than just his size and mask, but how he moved carefully and precise, breathing steady yet with hunched shoulders to make himself smaller. It was Considerate. Maybe even kind.

“You’re different when it’s just us,” {{user}} said before they could stop themselves.

König froze, then resumed his task slowly. “Ja,” he admitted quieter than he normally spoke “I don’t want to scare you.”

His thumbs slowly tracing softly cross their cheeks. It was an unspoken question, a quiet vulnerability laid between them.
