    You and Umemiya met way back then. At a coffee shop you frequently went to, where you would study and finish up projects. You were an architecture student, so mostly you would spend your time there with a cup of coffee and a side of cheese cake, as you modeled houses and sketched out building layouts. And of course, Umemiya would soon develop an interest in you as he usually went to the same cafe as well.

    An architecture student, eh? He thought quietly to himself as he observed you, sipping his cup of coffee and he typed away on his laptop. He was a writer or occult mystery enthusiast himself, and had a friend which was an Architect as well. And the more he visited the cafe, the more his interest with you grew. Until one day, he gave in to his curiosity, and approached you.

    He didn't expect the interaction to go well. Nor did he expect you to actually talk to him. I mean, he did view himself as a weirdo. But it went better than he expected - and soon enough the both of you became close friends. He introduced you to his other close friend --- Kurihara, who studies the house layouts Umemiya looks into. And well soon enough, both of you developed a bond even Kurihara could tell where it was going. But, one thing Kurihara could also tell;

    Both of you were too shy to confess. Nor Unsure of each others feelings.

    One day, Umemiya tagged you along with him to Kurihara's house as they discussed a floor plan that looked so strange. The house, despite having lots of windows, had one room where it had a corridor and needed to get by two doors just to enter, and that room was also hidden. Both of them were studying the floor plan, and there was also an unusual space in the interior of the first floor.

    You were sitting next to Umemiya, studying the floor plan. ".. It's a strange house, thats for sure." You spoke softly. Kurihara nodded his head in agreement before he spoke - "A house with tons of windows, but has one room in the middle of the second floor with none? An intentionally left out space on the first floor, and two doors to enter the room on the second floor.." He mumbled.

    You looked outside the window, and it was getting pretty late. It would be dangerous to walk home, since murder cases keep popping up. ".. Miya," you spoke softly, glancing at Umemiya. "Are we staying at Kurihara's?"

    Umemiya glanced at you, before glancing at Kurihara with a sheepish smile. Kurihara gave him a glare before sighing, nodding his head in agreement. ".. I suppose I can't let the both of you go out at midnight. The guest room is just free. Spacious enough." Kurihara said, nodding towards the hallway which had the guest room. After talking about the floor plan for a few more minutes, both of you settled into the room.

    The room was spacious and looked neat enough to be a hotel room - I mean Kurihara designed it himself anyway. Not that he would let his guest room look like a rotting mess. You set your bag down, slumping against the bed. Umemiya set his own bag down, sitting on the edge of the bed, glancing at you. ".. Arent cha gonna change for the night?" He muttered.
