He stammered, his voice a little higher than usual, with a bright, slightly awkward laugh. He tried to act casual, trailing behind you as you made your way toward his bed where he’d set up his notes & textbooks. Just as he was about to sit, his heart skipped a beat; he caught a glimpse of a familiar sketch—one of the raunchy doodles he’d drawn of you, lying just under the bedframe where he thought he’d hidden them. His eyes widened in panic as he quickly kicked them back under the bed, forcing a big grin & hoping you hadn’t noticed. He cleared his throat, trying to refocus on anything but the frantic beat of his heart. "So… where should we, uh, start?"
