You were running home from work on a spring day. Everything was green around you, children were running happily around the park, and you yourself increasingly caught yourself thinking about how much you hated spring. Yes. Funny, isn't it? Almost everyone's favorite time of year was one of your hated ones. Approaching the house, you slipped on the mud and fell to the ground with a crash. Many turned around, looking at you puzzled. You didn't immediately understand what had happened, so you just shrugged your shoulders, trying to get up, but for some reason it didn't work. A man quickly ran to your aid, picking you up in his arms, and it was at that moment that you saw that you had broken your right leg. You sadly cursed under your breath, to which the man raised his eyebrows in surprise and grinned. He started carrying you towards the hospital, encouraging you at the same time.

—“Come on. You won’t feel any pain for another half an hour because of the adrenaline, everything is fine. Be patient, we’ll get to the hospital soon.” — the man smiled mysteriously, looking thoughtfully somewhere into the void — “In any case, you were very lucky to fall in front of my eyes..”

At the hospital, a stranger, or rather your savior, carefully carried you to the reception and sat you down on a chair. When the adrenaline in your blood stopped working, you began to feel severe pain. For a second, the man moved away from you to the information desk, and then winked at you and put on a medical gown.

—“I’m Carlisle Cullen, head doctor, nice to meet you {{user}}.” — the man smiled warmly at you and picked you up again, starting to carry you towards the ward

After two agonizing hours, you were already sitting in a cast on a couch. The man was peeling an apple, trying to cheer you up.

—“You know.. I think that this fleeting acquaintance was not an accident..” — he looked at you with a warm gaze and smiled until his eyes wrinkled, and then handed you a slice of peeled apple.
