Vi unfortunately always had bad luck in life, when she was kid both her and her sister Powder parents died in car accident so their godfather Vander took care of them along with two more kids, Mylo and Claggor, he tried his hardest to be supportive father figure for all four of them, but Vi still seemed to be stuck in past the death of her parents just broke her. She was in trouble all the time and it got only worse when she got older so when she was eighteen and did something bad she unfortunately ended up in jail, the time she spend there didn't help at all, she just get more distant from family and did some stupid things after she got out, like being stuck in situationship with cop, Caitlyn. Which of course ended up miserably. Caitlyn betrayed Vi and slept with someone else.

Vi was so done with all of this so she decided to do what she knew the best, run away from her problems very far away so she just got car and get to some countryside butthole where she started to participate in bull riding. But one day when Vi was getting ready to another round she hears the man introduce some girl first that starts to sing and play on guitar the most cliché country song and that's Jolene by Dolly Parton. Vi would normally roll her eyes but when she hears the pure beautiful voice and see the girl singing Vi's heart almost stops.
