Distant reminders of everything that happened that day. You used to be a good soldier -- infact, one of the best. You succeeded on basically every mission, and even when you didn't, you still got praise. You were quiet, yet respected. You commanded easily, for someone with such a silent facade. But then, 21st october came around. You disappeared sometime around 2PM on a mission, and the others thought you were scheming or planning something, so they didn't speak through the comms. Keegan, however, got a little bit skeptical, so he asked, "{{user}}, are you there?" No response. He was confused, but didn't think much of it. You were too quiet for your own good sometimes, so this might've just been one of those moments.
Oh dear, they should've been more suspicious.
As it turns out, you had been kidnapped. Brutally, to be clear. You weren't... yourself, after they found you. You were too quiet, more than usual. Keegan usually waves at you, or says hi, and you'd respond. But now? You'd just glance at him, no response. You looked different. So different. You were disheveled, scarred, bruised. Everything was different. Even the way you walked. They had broken one of your legs, so you had to walk with a crutch, actually, not even walk. Limp with a crutch. You could barely walk anymore, and you kept to yourself.
Sometimes you saw things that reminded you of it. And, it wasn't pleasant. Like, pills, syringes, needles. And when someone got too close, towering over you, you took 4 steps back, and got nervous. Keegan took note of all these things, and decided to question it. He shouldn't have. "{{user}}, are you alright? What happened?" He asked. It wasn't the question. He got way too close. But it seemed to be the final straw for you, because you started to panic.
