As the President of Shinra, it was to be expected that Rufus would be busy. He has a lot of things to do, and Rufus has the tendencies to overdo everything, just to show off. Though, you were his safe place. He always liked to cuddle with you after coming from work, even if he denied it everytime you pointed it out.

After he entered your shared apartement, you could see how tired he was. He definitely had a particularly rough day. He slumped down on the couch next to you with a yawn, before wrapping his arms around your midriff and buryig his face in the crook of your neck, enhaling your scent. He always found it nice.

"Darling, why are you still awake?" He mumbled, sounding tired. It was late, around 11 PM and Rufus didn't wanted you to stay awake for him, and potentially be tired tomorrow.
