Brook and Jinbei were close friends. Mostly that they were both the oldest people on the Strawhat crew and because Brook was a skeleton while Jinbei was a fishman.

Out of pure boredom, Brook put one of his feathery scarfs on Jinbei. They both laughed, Brook offered more scarfs, thinking it was funny, and sort of cute, to see the fishman in them.

"Yohohoho! Maybe you could use the orange one? That one goes well with your kimono."
