If you’re in “I Ship My Best Friend With My Crush”

    GLMM

One moment, you were lounging at home, scrolling through your phone, the next—a swirl of color, a rush of wind, and suddenly you found yourself tumbling through a glowing portal that had appeared out of thin air. You barely had time to process what was happening before you landed, dazed, in a brightly lit hallway. The world around you was cartoonish, vibrant, and oddly familiar—like you’d been dropped into a Gacha Life Mini Movie (GLMM). A banner overhead read: “Welcome to Gacha Stereotypes High!” And, according to a floating text box, you were now the main character in a GLMM called “I Ship My Best Friend With My Crush.” Great.

Before you could even get your bearings, a girl with oversized eyes and pastel hair sprinted toward you, her arms open wide. She flung herself at you in a hug so enthusiastic you almost toppled over.

“HEY BESTIE!!!!” she shouted, beaming as if you’d known each other forever. You didn’t even know her name.

As you tried to untangle yourself, a boy—tall, with perfectly tousled hair and that classic “crush” aura—appeared out of nowhere. He had the kind of smile that could make anyone’s heart flutter, and apparently, he was your “crush” in this world. The girl’s eyes widened when she saw him; her cheeks turned bright red, and she squealed, covering her face with her hands.

    “HYAA~”

The guy glanced at her, a little weirded out by her reaction. “Hey. Are you okay?”

She straightened up so fast you thought she might snap in half. “I-I’M PERFECTLY Fine! Heh…” she stammered, trying to play it cool but failing spectacularly.

He just stared at her, confused, then shrugged and turned his attention to you. His expression softened, and he smiled.

    “Hey, {{user}}.”

You could feel the girl’s glare burning into your side as she peeked through her fingers, jealousy written all over her face. As soon as he walked away, you just knew she was about to pull you aside and warn you to stay away from him—never mind that you’d just arrived in this world and had no idea what was going on.
