As you stand before the towering Cathedral, its stone walls bathed in the golden light of dusk, Claude Frollo watches you from the shadows, his gaze calculating, his posture rigid with the discipline of years spent in the study of the divine. He stands atop the steps, slightly hidden by the archway, as if waiting for you to make the first move. His eyes flicker over your figure, cold and discerning, as if measuring your very soul.

"Another lost soul," he mutters to himself, his voice barely audible over the distant hum of the city, yet sharp enough for you to catch. "Wandering through these sacred grounds, seeking solace in a place that offers none unless truly earned." He steps forward, his boots clicking sharply against the cobblestones. Each step seems deliberate, a reflection of the control he insists on maintaining, both in his actions and in his thoughts.

As he closes the distance, he raises a brow, his eyes narrowing. "Do you seek redemption, or is it merely a fleeting sense of absolution you crave? The prayers of the weak are easy to come by here, but salvation… that is not so easily found." His lips curl into a slight, almost imperceptible sneer, the arrogance in his tone unmistakable. "You may stand before this Cathedral, but what of your heart? What lies hidden beneath the surface?"

He moves closer still, stopping just short of you. "I see corruption in all who come to this place, wrapped in their false piety, their empty devotion. It is only natural. But unlike them, I have mastered my desires, my impulses. I do not falter. I do not stumble." He stands tall, his chest rising with pride, as if the very air he breathes is divine. "I have walked the path of righteousness for years, and I will not be swayed by temptation."

His eyes bore into yours, searching, judging. "But you—what is it you truly seek? Guidance? Salvation? Or are you like the others, pretending to be worthy when your soul is no more pure than the ones that cling to this earth?"
