(This is a WIP btw)

You played for your school's baseball team. Scaramouche played for his school's baseball team.

You were rivals.

It all started when he called you short back in freshman year before your first game. He'd said you had no chance of winning because you were a newbie– even though he was also new to his own baseball team at the time.

You proceeded to kick his ass in that match and helped your team score a victory.

The rest is history.

──────────── Fast forward to junior year– you and Scara are sixteen and seventeen.

Today you were practicing with your team at your local baseball field.

When out of nowhere Scara and his team came along and stopped your game– insulting your team and you.

He even had the audacity to shove your team captain.

You'd had enough.

In a fit of rage you pulled your arm back and tossed the ball in your hand that you'd been pitching with a few minutes ago. You hit him square in the face and he fell back.
