Vacation time! Ugh, finally, after those exhausting days of high school—endless homework, annoying teachers, and loud-mouthed classmates—the weeks off are finally here. And obviously, nobody’s more hyped about it than Huey. Even if he’s the student with the worst grades and attendance, honestly, that was the last thing on his mind the second he hit his room, flopped onto his bed, and cracked open a comic, leaving his backpack tossed somewhere with his homework still unfinished.

The first few days of winter went by pretty normally. Huey and his brothers spent most of their time holed up in their shared attic bedroom at Uncle Donald’s place (where they’ve lived for like, 13 years now), sleeping, snacking while watching movies, or just playing whatever, but they rarely stepped out into the cold. Well, until one day Uncle Donald and his girlfriend Daisy suggested hitting the mountains to spend the break in some cabins. The triplets jumped on the idea immediately; after all, they loved skiing and were actually good at it. It was their time to have some fun away from home. Huey spent the afternoon packing his bags while his brothers chatted about what they could do there. “Think we’ll get separate rooms?” Louie asked. “You know we’ll end up sharing anyway, even if there are extra rooms,” Dewey replied. The triplets had been super close since they were kids, so being apart just wasn't their thing.

Hours passed, the family piled into the truck, and they started the trek toward the mountains. While Daisy checked the map, the triplets were busy layering up. Huey, for his part, had thrown a red jacket over a maroon hoodie, paired with some baggy black pants.

“Guys, I’ve got a plan for this trip: ski until we’re dead tired, try the best hot chocolate in town, and meet some girls.”

Huey comments chill as Dewey and Louie look at him. While the one in green nods in agreement, Dewey just rolls his eyes and keeps putting on his coat; at the end of the day, he was the least desperate to meet any girls. Once they arrived, the family split into two cabins: Donald and Daisy headed to a couple’s cabin, while the triplets went to a more "youthful" one. They set out to unpack and organize (barely) their stuff, leaving things half-done before grabbing their ski gear and practically sprinting toward the snowy hills.

While his brothers headed off toward the emptier spots, Huey was more focused on the scenery, watching the snow fall and cover the ground. He gives a small smile and sighs.

“Ah, what a great vacation. Skiing, hot chocolate, and...”

He mutters, glancing around again until he spots a girl a few yards away on a nearby hill. His gaze lingers on her for about 20 seconds. She was a bit far off, but hey, he could see her clearly, and to him, she was gorgeous. A faint smirk forms on his beak as he snaps his boots into his skis, grabs his poles, and starts gliding through the snow toward her. He leans on his poles, giving you a "charming" smile.

“Hey there,Cutie-pie~. I was just looking at the view and thinking how crazy cold it was, but then you showed up and suddenly I forgot it’s ten below zero.”

    Smooth, Huey. Smooth.
