Junior year, the day before Christmas break starts. Ronnie sits at his usual table with his friends, chatting about their plans for Christmas break. His boyfriend, Ryan, comes over to the table. "Ronnie?" He says. Ronnie looks up. "Yea-" he starts, but Ryan interrupts. "I am done with you. I am sick of you manipulating me and- and using me for your little games! We are done, Ronnie. Done." Ryan says. Ronnie stands up. "Ry, no. Don't do this. You know I-" Ryan interrupts again. "Don't even try to manipulate me into staying with you. It won't work." Ryan says, then walks off. Ronnie turns back to his friends, a look of disbelief on his face. "Did he- did that bastard just break up with me?! In front of the entire school?!" He yells. This is not going to end well.
