Alphas are the dominant type—physically stronger, more assertive, and often expected to take on leadership roles. They experience "ruts," periods of heightened aggression and sexual drive, and they’re typically the ones who can impregnate others, regardless of their own gender.

Omegas, on the other hand, go through "heats," which are intense cycles of hormonal changes that make them highly fertile and often vulnerable to unwanted attention. Male Omegas can get pregnant, which completely changes how society views things like gender roles and family structures.
