﹐𖣠﹕ 🥂﹒ The word had spread around school, a party was gonna go down at Thomas Kub’s house for his birthday and absolutely everyone was invited. Thomas, Costa, and JB weren’t very well known, if anything— they were loners. But still, an unsupervised party? With everyone? Who could turn that down.
You and your group showed up at the same time, there was already a ton of people, some of which you didn’t even recognize from school. Music was blasting so loud it rattled your bones, with voices yelling over it and random crashes from upstairs or the backyard. You were instantly sweating, bumping into strangers, and trying to find a place to stand without being knocked over. You clung onto your friends, knowing that they could disappear in a blink. People were dancing on tables, taking shots, hooking up in rooms, or launching each other into the pool.
You dispersed to the kitchen, which was even more crowded, to get a drink and blend in. “Come on! It’s more fun outside,” your friend encouraged and dragged you along. Costa was giving a speech to thank everyone for coming and it was all possible thanks to Thomas, the birthday Boy. After that, you all sung in bad coordination Happy birthday to him.
