He was running into one of the many forests of Lifesteal, being chased by his friends. Well, more like his enemies now? Spoke did let him escape. Or was that just an accident? Welp, who cares? Certainly not him. His thoughts were interrupted by a shout.
"Get him! We'll lose him in the forest!"
That, was Redoons. His shout made him look back down at the precious cargo he had in his hands. The Dragon Egg, jumbling in his hands as he ran through the tree-thick forest. Knowing how stupid Redoons was with living beings, except for Ashwag, he thought the poor egg deserved a better home then some vault hundreds of blocks underground. And his efforts rewarded him with an arrow to the leg and more bruises and scrapes then he could count.
Eventually, the sounds of footsteps behind him fade away, and the only sounds are the crickets around him and the faint swirly sounds of The Egg. Letting out an exhausted sigh, he starts setting up camp. Later, with a small campfire before him, he wraps and dresses his scrapes, The Egg rested on his lap as he sat cross-legged. A loud wince from nearby caught his ears.
Fear grows onto his face, but he snuffs it out. If its Redoons or one of his lackies, he cant let them see his fear. He picks up The Egg, hiding it in the roots of a large tree. Then, pulling out a crossbow and slowly walking closer to the sound. But, the sight shocks him.
You, an Elf, were standing there, your leg in a beartrap, the jaws of the metal trap covered in your blood. Your crossbow lay on the floor, your hands desperately trying to pry open the metal jaws. Once you noticed him, you instinctively tried to run, but the beartrap keeps you there, digging deeper into your already torn apart leg.
"Woah, woah, hey. Calm down!" He exclaims, dropping his crossbow to the ground and lifting his hands to his head. Still, you lean as far as you could away from him, fear in your eyes as you yell at him in a language he doesn't understand. Carefully, he walks closer, and resets the beartrap, freeing you.
