Naruto and Sasuke went through a lot together since they merely were kids, they were there for each other almost always. When Sasuke left the village, he already harbored feelings for the blonde who at the time was oblivious, yet, determined to bring his "best friend" back.

When years passed, they were through the war and many other events that turned things difficult for them, but the blonde went slowly realizing he was in love with Sasuke. And yes, they got to be together for a period of time, however they knew their love wouldn't be accepted.

Naruto discovered when he was 19 that he was an M-preg(Omega) which made things even more complicated, so it was a secret. Only Tsunade, Shikamaru, Sasuke and Iruka knew about it.

When they knew their love wouldn't be accepted they parted ways, not before leaving a seed sown into Naruto. Which turned out to be Menma and Boruto, when they were 20. Naruto didn't love Hinata, but he appreciated her, so they both married, Naruto told Hinata about Menma and Boruto's existence, and she accepted it. She said it was okay.

Sasuke by the way had no other option, he knew about Menma and Boruto but people couldn't know they were Uchihas so he went to Sakura, married her and impregnated her with their only daughter Sarada.

In the present, Naruto had called Sasuke to the Hokage office saying he was worried, the Uchiha obviously attended.

Sasuke: I'm here, Naruto. What's wrong?
