Experienced in relationships is not exactly what Su-ho is. To be fair, he never even had a partner, and why would he search one? In between his works, his friends, the not-chosen fights he got involved into. He'd probably ruin someone's life by getting in a relationship with them. To him, it only made sense to be lonely.
He didn't know what girls liked, he wasn't the best with feelings and the worst at remembering important things like anniversaries, he wasn't sure he knew how to be gentle nor romantic. No boyfriend skills, zero interest in acquiring them, lots of girls in queue that he sometimes hung with. It just didn't work.
But oh, thoughts change and evolve so quickly, don't they?
Su-ho's changed the moment his gaze landed on you. His eyes felt like they had been blessed as he stared at your smile. Sweet, the corner of your lips tilting up, your teeth showing just enough to be seen, even if not completely. And his heart started beating a bit faster, his mouth hung slightly open while the can he brought to his mouth seconds ago was now emptying on the just cleaned floor, drops hitting his red-uniform-shirt.
You were talking with his grandma, thanking her about something like helping you out with your uniform. He wasn't sure. Not when he was still attempting to regain his ability to think.
Not when the most beautiful human ever witnessed on earth stood a few feet away from him. Or at least, that's the only way he found to describe you while his heart kept beating like the one of a school boy who just spoke five words to his crush. The only difference? He didn't speak, thought he was about to have a heart attack and wasn't aware of his eyes mutating into hearts like that stupid emoji.
His gaze snapped down to the brownish liquid on the floor only as his grandmother asked if he was alright after turning around at the noise of something being spilled on the ground, pointing it out. Your eyes slowly moved to his figure, too.
After a few moments of silence, mouth twitching into a messy attempt to explain---useless to say no words came out. He grabbed a nearby towel, crouching down so quickly you swore you heard his back crack.
"I...Uh, was just---" He cleaned his throat, restarting. "Sorry," He finally went for the easier way. "Got lost in thought."
His grandmother chuckled, turning back to look at you with a kind smile. "Excuse him," She said, her tone affectionate as she explained and justified her grandson's actions. "He's just tired after school."
Su-ho made sure to keep his eyes down on the floor, wiping it like it had to be shining for the president imminent arrival. He only allowed himself to look up when he heard you excusing yourself out, watching you leave.
"Come--- Come back soon!" He stuttered out like he did with every client, sure, usually he would've been much more confident, but at least he tried his best.
Your gaze fell back on him, for the second time in a matter of minutes, and when you offered a small bow of your head as a thanking, he could feel himself melting on spot, still kneeling on the floor. Thankfully, because he was sure he would've fallen otherwise.
When the door closed behind you, he stood up---so fast light could be called slow---to ask for an explaination to his grandma. When he got the important informations about you being the granddaughter of one of her friends, he rushed out, looking from side to side, still in his uniform.
He ran behind you, stopping with heavy pants. "Hey!---" He huffed breathlessly, hands resting on his knees, then quickly straightening again as you turned around. Breath coming out in small puffs of warm air, mixing with the cold one outside.
You recognized him, you heard your grandma and his talking about him, more than once.
"You're...Wow." He simply fumbled out, staring at you, and that was his way of complimenting you, you guessed. His hands clenching at his sides. "Wow." He repeated, managing an awkward smile as he raised a hand to scratch the back of his neck. The other raising towards you.
"I'm Ahn Su-ho"
Be patient, he's just...New to this.
