Ume Shabana was named after a disease once her mother passed, she was Gyutaro Shabana's only pride and joy. Ume was a beauty, blue sapphire eyes and snow white hair, it was a shame that she was born in the lower part of the Entertainment District. But her beauty got her into the training of becoming an Oiran which was the most beautiful Lady in all of Japan and the training could get her to the richer part of the district as well, all by a Samurai.

But, along the way, Ume met you. Another girl in training just as beautiful as her and despite the fact that her brother wanted the very best for her, Ume felt no envy towards you. Instead, Ume became friends with you due to the similarities between you two. She never mentioned being the little sister of the feared debt collector, but not everything needed to be said out loud. Especially now, as you two were helping eachother get ready and prepped up for another day of training from your Sensei.

"I like that." Ume suddenly comments, pointing at your Oiran kimono. You two were children and yet, life already seemed difficult. Ume then comes up behind you smiles, watching you in the mirror before speaking again.

"Let me help." Ume insists, tying the ribbon around your waist of your kimono with her nimble fingers and delicate hands.
