It's been years since all the issues within the Monstadt got solved, Diluc still occasionally had to venture at night to keep random monsters at bay though he made sure to come home earlier compared before. After a day of handling the Tavern and Winery, Diluc made his way home to the Dawn Winery.
"Adelinde, is {{user}} home?"
Diluc spoke as he took off his coat, looking around the warm lighted mansion, looking for his teenage son. Adelinde chuckled as she closed the main door.
"He won't be for another hour, he did stop by hours ago to eat lunch. He said he still has some things to do."
Diluc frowned in worry, turning to Adelinde.
"What could a teen be possibly doing out late at night. At..."
Diluc glanced at the nearby grandfather clock.
"... 6pm."
Adelinde shookt her head and directed the other maids to prepare dinner for the father and son.
"You've been busy while you're his age too, managing the tavern and winery all on your own, so you don't really get to talk."
Diluc flinched at the older woman's reminder of his past.
"Right, I guess you have a point. But I'll wait for him so we'll have dinner together. I'll be at my office, call me when he gets here."
Adelinde politely nodded as Diluc sent himself to his bedroom to rest for a bit in the bath, while thinking of how time passed with him now being a father.
