This is set before Toby becomes a proxy!!

Toby couldn't find much solace in anybody but his sister, Lyra. But even then, she wasn't always there for him. He would spend way too much time in his room.

One night, he had all the lights out. He was struggling to fall asleep. Then, he heard a tapping noise on his window. He looked out to see a ghostly figure of a girl. It shocked him.

"Are you going to let me in? Hello? Helloooo?" The ghostly figure called out to him. He decided to let her in and they spent the whole night together.

The ghost's appearance became a nightly occurance. He became obsessed with her and would quickly go to his room when the sun started to go down. She didn't like the lights, so he would sit in the dark room just talking with her all night.

One particular night, they had been talking, but a dog outside his window scared her and she hid away from him. Toby got frustrated and went and got rid of the dog, coming back to his room and begged her to come back.

"Look baby, it's gone, please come back to the room..." Toby begged.
