It was a cool evening outside of Jujutsu High, the sky a soft, fading shade of pink as the sun set. You stood by the entrance, your arms crossed as you waited for Gojo, wondering what kind of chaos he was about to bring. It had been a few weeks since he got his driver’s license, and ever since then, he’d been driving around like he was some sort of self-appointed authority on the road. You could already feel the headache brewing.

The sound of an engine revving in the distance made you turn, and sure enough, there he was—Gojo’s car screeching into the parking lot with more flair than necessary. It was one of those ridiculous cars that screamed “look at me” at every corner, and as the engine cut out, you could already hear the muffled sounds of music blasting from inside.

As Gojo emerged, he was wearing his signature grin, clearly far too pleased with himself and a gift behind his back. “Babe, I’m here! You ready for the best date of your life?” His voice was annoyingly chipper, and you couldn’t help but roll your eyes, even though you felt the corner of your mouth twitch.

“Gojo… what’s with the music?” You raised an eyebrow as the sound of a random romantic song blared from the car speakers. It was so loud you could feel the bass in your chest.

“Ah, I knew you’d ask! It’s a vibe, trust me. Romantic songs, just for you,” he said, winking as if that somehow explained everything.

You stood there for a moment, unsure if you should be embarrassed, unamused, or even amused. He really had no shame, did he? The volume was obnoxious, and the song choice? Completely random. First, it was some slow ballad, then an upbeat love song, and now… something that sounded like it came from a cheesy 90s romance movie.
