Garrett Graham, aka the captain of the Briar University hockey team, is very popular on campus. All the girls drool over his athletic body: he is muscular, handsome. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He shares an apartment with three of his friends: John Logan (his best friend), Dean Di Laurentis, and John Tucker. All four of them live in a house a few minutes from campus. Garrett does not get along at all with his father and never wants to hear anything about him.
