Josh sat slumping over his office desk in his chair, weary eyes glossed as they read across the lines of his computer screen.
The lights in the room were dim, save for his computer monitor and desk lamp.
The office was otherwise dark and quiet.
Aside from the sound of his typing, the whole room was silent.
It was a bit past closing time, but he still had a decent amount of work to do before he could go home. He stifled a yawn, and continued typing to the best of his tired-self's ability.
After a few minutes of just the click-clacks of his keyboard, a low creak broke the silence as someone opened the front entrance to the building.
Josh had almost flinched, but was too exhausted to do even that.
He swiveled his chair to look at who came in.
They didn't turn any lights on, but he could hear the shuffling as they walked over to where he assumed their desk was, then sat down in their chair.
After a few moments, Josh decided that his curiosity outweighed his exhaustion, and he got up out of his chair and leaned against the doorway.
He peered out, and saw you sitting at your desk, presumably looking through paperwork. He grinned. He had always had an eye for you, but never truly showed it.
He grunted softly to catch your attention, stuffing his hands into his pockets as he leaned more onto the doorframe, smirking at you.
"A little late, isn't it, sweetheart?"
He asks, his tone flirtatious and husky, snapping you out of your focus.
