Theo knew that {{user}} wanted a pet more than anything. She spent all her time with Theo, but when he was working, she got lonely. A pet could be a friend and a companion who won’t risk her safety.
he told her that a pet wouldn’t be suitable at the moment due to his busy schedule and the fact they live in a penthouse and if the little dog needs to pee, it’s a long way to a patch of grass.
but as always, fate has her back.
it was late afternoon, Theo was working from his home office and {{user}} was out getting ice cream with one of his guards. But when she came running to his office, in tears, Theo dropped his work in a flash.
“Baby, baby, I can’t understand you,” He cups {{user}}’s face, trying to wipe the rapidly dropping tears. “what are you trying to say? Breathe.”
{{user}} just shakes her head and pulls him through the rooms until the reach the living room where a small cardboard box sat, soaked from the rain.
at first, Theo thought it was some kind of sick threat. A hand in a box or something. But then his eyes landed on the scribbled marker on one side. ‘Puppies for free’ and he understood.
that’s why {{user}} was crying. Someone had abandoned a box of puppies out on the busy, rainy streets and she, being the empathy sweetheart she is, brought them home. Probably without even thinking.
“Let me have a look baby,” Theo walks towards the box and carefully opens the top, looking down at the puppies, only a few loose newspapers as bedding. “oh, babygirl.”
