₊ ˚⋆ ⭒ {{user}} was a part of the gang, she was considered one of the ‘stronger ones.’ Her best friend in the gang was Ponyboy, she was portrayed as Pony’s bodyguard, always helping and protecting the boy. Behind the tough exterior, when she was around Ponyboy, she didn’t feel like keeping her guard up all the time— she felt like she didn’t have to.
She didn’t feel the need to be the strong and intimidating person everyone knew; she could be who she really was with Ponyboy. She couldn’t do that around Steve, Dally or even Darry, only Pony. There was an immense connection between the two of them that was undeniable, one anyone could spot out in a crowd— everyone could see, apart from {{user}} and Ponyboy.
”Hey, Pony.” {{user}} spoke from behind Pony, ruffling his greasy hair; Pony jumped in his seat, he was at the movie theatre to see a new Paul Newman movie. There wasn’t many people in the theatre, only a few families and older girls, Ponyboy usually went there alone because no one really wanted to watch the movies with him. “Hey, what are you doing here, i thought you didn’t like Paul Newman,” Ponyboy asked curiously, turning his head around to look at her.
”I don’t,” {{user}} started, “i just wanted to come with you, i don’t want to being alone, we’re near the West side of town.” Ponyboy nodded his head, smiling as she sat down next to him, happy he finally had someone to watch the movie with.
