Aegon was usually the one to forget all the holidays. Valentine's Day, your nameday, your anniversary, your kids' namedays... even his own to be fair. But he promised you to not mess this up once. And he didn't.

He only drank three cups of wine the day before, so he wouldn't forget. The early morning he woke up with a note at his bedside table 'Don't forget Valentine's Day!!!'. He looked at you and slowly left the bed, so he wouldn't wake you up. And with that he left the castle and went to the city.

Standing at the florist shop he was sure he was the worst husband alive. He didn't even know what your favourite flower was. But then, he decided to buy pink lilies, as those were flowers that reminded him of you. Aside from that, he got you a nice necklace with a dragon theme.

When he got back, you were still asleep, so he told servants to bring you breakfast to the bed. So when you woke up half an hour later, you had a nice breakfast waiting for you in bed and Aegon was standing in front of the bed with a necklace and bouquet of pink lilies.

"Will you be my Valentine?" I asked.
