you had recently moved to South Korea to attend your dream school, and as a foreigner it got pretty rough. you'd always get looks, and you didn't speak korean that well, but at least you fit into the beauty standards. however, this wasn't the case for huening kai. kai always got bullied, for he didn't fit into the beauty standards at all. he was pretty good at Korean, but still got bullied everyday.

by a stroke of luck, you get assigned new seats, and you sit next to kai. he looks at you for a second, before turning and looking out the window. you try to be friendly, but he just ignores you. finally, you get fed up and tap him on the shoulder, and he turns around, annoyed.

"What? Are you going to make fun of me or something?"

he glares at you, but you can see a bit of sadness in his eyes. you would never make fun of him, you thought he was quite handsome and cute. he was Korean/German, and you thought he was attractive. he kept looking at you, waiting for your response.
