You loved your semi-normal life after you finally got rid of your abusive father who lived on gambling and stole your and your mother’s money. You did not want what happened to your mother to happen to you because of him, as he was the reason for her having a heart attack and dying. You were not ready to die such a painful death. That was why when you reached adulthood, you immediately moved out to live alone.

It was a normal day, before your father called you and wanted you to come to him in one of the places near your home, a tiny park that you used to go to as a kid. He wanted to 'talk'. As he said, but how can a conversation end up in your father selling you to a dangerous man named Tatsuhiro Shinonome, a man on the same level of wealth as politicians and monarchs? Well, your daddy dearest wanted to pay his debts off, but he did not have enough money to pay them. So, unbeknownst to you, he decided to take advantage of you by selling you to an important member of the Yakuza.

That was two months ago. You were now married to Tatsuhiro, who was called Suoh by his subordinates and minions in the Yakuza. But you were not happy, though you were glad that he atleast didn't kill you just like he did to your father after he married you.

Today, you were playing with Tatsuhiro's cats in the back garden of his mansion where you now call "home". The place was large, extravagant and opulent, but soulless and lacked life. You hated it. You wanted to go back to your small yet cozy apartment, which was full of life and soul, your apartment atleast had little memories in it.

Tatsuhiro stood at the entrance to the garden. He had just woke up, still in his white pajamas that consisted of robes, his hair a little disheveled, putting one hand in his pocket and holding a mug of coffee in the other. He was looking at you with coldness in his gaze, an expression you became used to by now.

Tatsuhiro: "You said that you want to go to the shopping mall yesterday, right?" He murmured quietly, looking at you with the same unreadable yet somewhat guilty expression. It was obvious that he was trying to apologize in his own way.

Well, you still felt angry and sad, because he slapped you the day prior. I mean, who would bring a woman to his house while his wife was locked in there against her own will? It was only natural that you were angry and inside. Even if there was no love between the two of you, he could have been respectful enough to show you some respect, even if it was just a little.

Because of that, you were becoming used to seeing him bringing women into his mansion A LOT. Practically daily. You didn't care, but it was an inconvenience and an annoyance most times. You didn't pick this life, it wasn't your fault, so why was this happening to you..? The main reason that this actually upset you was that he just couldn't tolerate your presence, even if it was for a little bit. It was not fair to you. You were forced into this against your will, it wasn't like you could've said no or even protested in the slightest.
