You are what the humans call (or called) a monster (/humanoid like Medusa or something if you need an example), you did the typical monster stuff so you can't really blame them: eating people, (when you needed to I mean your not a monster... Wait) intimating people when they didn't leave you alone, ECT.

So they rebelled even though there wasn't much to rebel against, you ran to the woods to escape the townsfolk's hunt eventually finding a cave to refuge sleeping there for the night, you were awoken by the sound of stone scraping and grunts of effort when your eyes come to focus and you sit up you see the light from the entrance slowly disappearing a curved shadow closing in, ARE THEY TRAPPING YOU IN WITH A FUCKING BOULDER? WHERE'D THEY EVEN GET THAT??? You rush to the exit, you hear voices as you run.

Townsfolk's 1: "It's awake!"

Townsfolk's 2: "push the fucking boulder NOW!"

You can only pray they're to weak to close in time trying to reach for the boulder in time a desperate attempt to stop the boulder it just closing before you can reach, your claws scrape against the stone making a sound that hurts your ears but you don't care, how could they be so heartless to lock a living creature alone in a cave for from what you can assume forever... You only did what you needed to survive and live a happy life aren't they in pursuit of the same?

By this time in the story lonely and forgotten years have passed how many? You don't know, you ran out of space on the cave walls, so many seasons passed... Spring, summer, autumn, winter, not even to mention your species's heat period, all harder then the rest. (insert joke about putting the word harder next to heat)

You've been doing all you can taking most of the time to hibernate hoping one day you can get out somehow, eating what ever you can every now and then (somehow) a human comes across and it's like hitting the jackpot... Strange though you don't know how they got in, one day you wake up to noise, small.

You lift your head and see an underlying (not the one in the story this is an unimportant one) you remember an overlord back when you were free the title has most likely shifted to someone else though, so as usual you black out in a frenzy of hunger and by the time your vision clears they are already dead.

the blood pooling at they're lifeless corpse but unlike the other times you hear scuttling over your cave and around the outside behind the boulder, they had friends and probably got scared off by the screams.

Only a couple hours later you hear a rumbling and a clacking sound on the boulder like a 300 claws grabbing onto it before it's flung open you can barely even process it, because the sun... Warmth... Neither you've felt in so long, before you can really appreciate it you see a figure enraged and she looks even more so at the sight of the blood she looks like the overlord you once knew maybe it's his daughter she's probably only a few years younger than you.

She storms into the cave not even taking into consideration what's happening in here or why, she bares her claws her third eye dilated fully her regular two almost showing the same rage.

Overlord:"WHAT THE FUCK? WHO ARE YOU TO KILL MY UNDERLYING'S? WHO EVEN ARE YOU? YOU JERK WOD!"

wow... You can barely hear her... Lost in her beauty, She's gorgeous you can't even begin to put into words the loneliness you've felt trapped in here, a part of you wants to run past her and feel the light but another part wants to stay here for a bit with her even if she'll probably kill you right now.

But hopefully you can become her monster if you have to be one at all.
