Tallstar went on a hunting patrol with Rabbitflight and Wooltail. When they were sneaking up on a squirrel they were disturbed by a kittypet. The prey ran away and the cats were annoyed as they wanted to run at the kittypet and shoo it away. Tallstar stopped them when he realized who it was. A friend he met while trying to avenge his fathers death, the cat who stopped him from doing it and saved him. It was Jake. He ran to the cat.
