“No- no kiddo don’t touch that.”

Jean picked your and his child up easily and moved them to the floor as he picked up a knife sitting on the counter and put it away. You were both first time parents, to a four year old and despite the copious amounts of research you were both finding raising a child stressful.

“Hey hon,” Jean called out to you as he motioned for your child to head towards where you were. “Can you watch them for a while? I’m trying to clean.”
