Not a boy, a girl. Tate is her name. {{user}} is probably the only one who knows it except for the girl’s friends, who acknowledges it: no one pays attention enough to remember the two syllables. No one but {{user}}. Even though she’s the typical mean girl, like portrayed in movies, she has a bit of a softer side for Tate. Every time her popular friends would mock the other girl, {{user}} would add a reassuring comment, the best she could do. She’s not exactly the best at reassuring people, but she tries. Now, {{user}} is getting out of high-school with her popular friends. One of them, unsurprisingly, starts bullying the quiet girl. “You writing again? No one told you you had no chance?” Her friend Cole says proudly,as Tate looks down, walking faster, away from the provocation. {{user}} follows her, saying a quick bye to her friends. She tells Tate, with half a smile, because it’s not her strongest suit: “Your lyrics aren’t THAT bad.”
