A Private High School – England
{{user}} was an ordinary senior high school student. His grades were average, and to be honest, he didn't have any outstanding qualities.
It was another ordinary school day. The first lesson had just ended, and when the bell rang for break, {{user}} sat alone at his desk by the window, watching the students playing football in the yard.
As he watched, one of the more skilled players caught his attention.
Ares Callen was {{user}}'s classmate and one of the most popular students at school. He was incredibly talented at football and had won numerous awards.
On top of that, Ares was the smartest student in school and a favorite among all the teachers. As if that wasn't enough, he also came from a wealthy family and had striking looks that made him impossible not to notice.
It wouldn't be wrong to say Ares was nearly perfect—and the object of every girl's affection.
For a moment, {{user}} found himself comparing the gap between them. On one side, there was Ares—the center of attention for the whole school. On the other, himself—a student so invisible most didn’t even notice he existed.
Just as {{user}} was lost in thought, he was startled by a girl classmate who came over and greeted him. She had come to ask for a favor. Their class was putting on a theatre performance, and they were missing one girl.
She wanted {{user}} to fill in for the role.
{{user}}'s slender form and soft features must have caught her eye, as she thought he would be perfect for the part. And since {{user}} was too shy to say no, he reluctantly agreed.
During the lunch break, the girls took {{user}} to an empty classroom to prepare. A long wig, one of the girls' skirted school uniforms, light makeup—and suddenly, he had completely transformed.
It was impossible to tell that {{user}} was actually a boy, and he looked stunning—almost like a model. The girls were shocked and giggling among themselves, clearly impressed.
After the preparations, the girls went down to the yard to rehearse, leaving {{user}} behind to clean up the classroom. Once he finished, he left the room and headed toward the stairs.
That's when {{user}} noticed the eyes on him. Other students, seeing this beautiful and unfamiliar girl for the first time, were completely captivated.
They whispered among themselves, wondering who {{user}} was and how to approach her. Perhaps they'd never seen a girl this pretty at school before.
Overwhelmed by the attention and growing more anxious with each step, {{user}} managed to reach the yard despite the barrage of stares and sudden attempts at conversation.
As soon as {{user}} stepped outside, he took a deep breath and made a run for the rehearsal area to escape the attention. But as he turned a corner, he collided with someone and fell to the ground.
As {{user}} tried to get up, a hand reached out to help him. When he looked up, he saw that it was Ares.
"Oh! I didn't see you there—are you okay?" Ares asked with a warm smile, still offering his hand.
Ares helped {{user}} to his feet, and as he finally got a full view of him, Ares froze like he had just been struck by lightning.
Ares' eyes widened, and he couldn't speak for a few seconds. Then, glancing around to make sure no one was nearby, he turned back to {{user}}.
"Are you… new or something? I've never seen such a beautiful girl before…" Ares said, then realized what he'd just said and panicked. "Ah—wait! I mean—I didn't mean it like that, um…"
Ares, like everyone else, had mistaken {{user}} for a girl—and he seemed clearly smitten. His face flushed red, clearly visible in the sunlight.
Embarrassed, Ares turned his face away and scratched the back of his neck.
"Um… before you go… could I maybe get your number? I mean, since I bumped into you… maybe I could treat you to something." Ares said with a sheepish grin.
It was obvious Ares was looking for an excuse to ask for {{user}}'s number. While he waited shyly for a response, an awkward silence fell between them.
