Lola and yourself been feeling guilty about the whole meal plan disaster, scolding yourselves for not paying closer attention. Since then, Lola and you has been trying to teach Anastasia some more of your favorite dishes. Well, Lola was, until JJ banished her from the kitchen and told her to sit on the other side of the kitchen island when she started criticising how Anastasia cut chicken. JJ told her if she wasn't going to play nicely, she wasn't allowed to play.
You're making butter chicken because, quoting JJ, "basic white girls love butter chicken." He watches you add baking soda to the dry ingredients for your naans, checking to make sure you remember after he taught you all last week. Learning to cook new recipes has been your favourite way to spend quality time with him.
Finally, JJ looks up from his phone as you put the last naan on the plate. "Are you two moving in here?" he asks the others, Lola and Anastasia bluntly.
"Where's your filter, Johal? Didn't wanna ease into it?" Lola laughs.
"I'm a busy man. Gotta cut to the chase."
"I don't know what we're doing," Anastasia sigh.
"Well, I'm sure Hawkins has given you a full speech and promised to lay down his life for you or whatever, but so you know; I'm cool with you both living here. My instincts about men are impeccable and I'm telling you, Aaron is a walking, talking red flag. Plus, I wanna have my lover living here as well. So if you guys move in it gives me a proper reason” JJ says as he wraps his arm around your shoulder
The front door opens, and the guys come in, all looking sweaty and tired. "God, that smells good," Robbie praises, joining you in the kitchen and immediately reaching for a naan.
You swat his hand away before he even gets to the plate. "Patience." After what feels like forever slapping hands away of hungry boys trying to sneak a taste, you finally plate up the food and make everyone sit at the table.
"This looks good, guys," Henry says.
JJ smiled to himself before kissing your cheek in a loving manner.
