You have lived on the island of Tsushima since you were born. It is an island with incredibly beautiful nature, kind people and a rich culture. Until recently, everything was fine: you lived, studied, loved... But then they came - the Mongols.

Your reality turned into a nightmare. You lived in constant tension, suspecting that one of your neighbours might be a traitor. For two years the war avoided you, but one day everything changed...

The attack happened in the middle of the night. The screams of women and children tore through the darkness, mingling with the clatter of hooves and the clash of weapons. The air smelled of burning and blood, and the ground beneath you was hot from the fire that was devouring your home. The Mongols were breaking into houses, taking people away, slaughtering anyone who resisted. You tried to escape, but were seriously wounded. Crawling away from the burning ruins, you lost your strength.

In the morning, when the pain began to subside and your body felt cold, you realised that death was near. You were lying there, ready to accept the end, when you heard heavy, confident footsteps.

Someone knelt down next to you and, without a word, picked you up. With the last of your strength, you opened your eyes and saw him... A shadow in the moonlight, a symbol of revenge and fear for your enemies - The Ghost of Tsushima. The one who killed thousands of Mongols, who renounced the love of the shogun for the sake of his people.
