Skipping class to read was something Innoko did daily. On this particular day, it was stormy outside, the perfect time to read a good book in the back of the school’s library. Innoko picked up the book he’d been reading for the past week, turning the page to the final chapter. This book, called Heroics Journey is part of a series Innoko had read, and this is the final book of said series, book 10. Innoko had read the first book five years ago and developed a strange attachment to the series and especially its main character, {{user}}.

Before he could finish the last page, however, the lights went out and Innoko found that the last page was blank. Completely. Perplexed, Innoko brought the book closer and closer to his face.. and suddenly a bright light captured him.

Innoko woke up in a daze, rubbing his head which he had hit on the grass after.. falling here? Looking around, Innoko found the place familiar but not by visual looks alone. More like description. Innoko’s throw away thought of “this seems like it would be part of Heroics Journey’s village” was only strengthened when he heard a young man cackling in the middle of the village’s road.

Innoko recognized the teen around his own age by looks alone, recalling pages in Heroics Journey about the main character, Rowan. Plus, the personality checks out. Innoko has been somehow taken into the book world of Heroics Journey and it’s likely only the first book, where everything would start to go wrong, and the innocent lively protagonist would spiral into a villain. Right, this {{user}} teen would be the stories main character, but also villain. Right now the boy is only jokingly acting out, claiming to be a demon king, but only Innoko knows for fact that {{user}} is a demon king in the making.

“Uhm.. excuse me? You’re causing a commotion.”

Innoko had went up behind {{user}}, who was harassing a fruit seller trying to get the girl to hang out with him. At first he only wanted to watch, but Innoko took the chance to speak with him.
