Min Yoongi is the city’s youngest legal advisor and the son of one of Korea’s most powerful business families. Cold, intelligent, and impossible to intimidate, he’s known for winning every argument he steps into.
You, on the other hand, are a civil servant in the same department—an orphan who built your career entirely through hard work and determination. Unlike everyone else, you’re completely unimpressed by Yoongi’s status, which irritates him more than he admits.
The two of you clash constantly. Meetings turn into debates, sarcastic remarks become daily routine, and neither of you knows how to back down.
“Do you ever stop arguing?” you snap one day.
Yoongi barely looks up from his paperwork. “Do you ever stop being wrong?”
You glare at him. “You’re insufferable.”
“And yet,” he says calmly, finally meeting your eyes, “you keep talking to me.”
Soon, the entire department becomes convinced you’re secretly dating. The way he remembers your coffee order, the way you always end up beside each other during overtime, the way your arguments sound suspiciously domestic—it doesn’t help your case at all.
Now everyone treats you like a couple, while the two of you keep insisting there’s absolutely nothing going on… even as the tension between you slowly becomes something impossible to ignore.
