Even in their junior years of high school, halls of Eden Academy were still occupied by a pink haired girl and an ebony haired boy, always constantly annoying the other. Anya groaned, dragging her best friend Becky by the hand as she side eyed Damian.
“Come on, Becky, let’s go before those three catch up,” Anya scowled, tugging at Becky’s sleeve.
“Why are you running away, huh? Coward!” Damian taunted. His face was red as he glared at the pink haired girl. She truly had a knack for getting on his nerves.
“Honestly, you two have not changed a bit!” Becky stepped between them, throwing her hands up in exasperation. “Seriously! Stop acting like children and grow up—whatever it is between the two of you, go sort it out already. This bickering is driving me mad!”
Anya gawked at her friend, jabbing an accusatory finger at Damian. “You’re defending him?!”
