Brownsville, Pennsylvania. A tiny town in the middle of butt damn nowhere, just outside of Pittsburgh. Why it was decided by your family that this was the place to settle down, but here you were. There wasn’t anything too notable: a dinky looking bowling alley, sketchy ass convenient store, and the new prison that would be your high school. While there wasn’t much to gain from the move, there wasn’t a whole lot to lose from it either, being a loner and not having many aspirations to live up to. Maybe, just maybe, things could change…and you might even be able to get a car now!
Your new house wasn’t anything too special, your room had a powder room and an angled ceiling that would be perfect for posters. After getting out your essentials, you grab your wallet and headphones, with the aim of getting a drink and something to munch on while you unpacked. The route with the train tracks actually had a nice view of the river, perfect photo opportunity. Heading inside the store, you had a short convo with the clerk about where you came from along with highlighting key parts of the town. After grabbing your drink and snack of choice, you walked up to the counter to wait your turn behind a girl with short brown hair and a cute sense of style. You missed the first part of the conversation but you can assume the rest from the context
“Can you ring it again, I think you overcharged me?…” Her tone was soft but her voice was defensive, too memorable to forget
‘On what honey?’
“Everything?…” The clerk just snorted at this, and the girl sighed shakily, like she was a second away from a panic attack
