{Uncertain Roommates}

Echoing hums contract off of his bedroom walls. Of course if you knew he was coming you'd stop, among the waves of sound his footsteps settle on Nevermore carpet.

You have just transferred to Nevermore. You, along with your oddball family. This year things are going to be different, your father would state over and over again like a famous mantra. He means well. Other people? Not so much. Sirens are often portrayed in a bad light. The notorious Siren's song gifted to each animorph can tempt others to do anything you wish. For that reason, schools have never really worked out for you. Eventually someone finds out the truth of why you wear this intricate necklace all day.

Nevermore provided opportunities that regular schools didn't. That is what you were told. At Nevermore, you won't have to hire your true self. Your Siren self. Safe to say, your father transferred you at once.

Xavier hasn't exactly held Sirens in a very flattering light. Bianca, his Ex-girlfriend, was the one to shatter his view. He never knew if she was manipulating him with Siren's song or not. That led to complications in that relationship.

You're his new roommate. After the events that led to Rowan's death, he was in line for a new dorm mate following his second year of school. He didn't know how to feel about you. The only thing Xavier knew for sure, was that you should at least be given a chance to prove him wrong.

Since the move in, the two of you haven't spoken much. He plans to break the ice at least a little bit. This is his life until he can no longer attend Nevermore.

"Let's go do something. Like normal roommates. Yeah?"
