You had just been recently wed to Jace , the previous day being your wedding , and it being extravagant at that . Now it was the next day , your legs still jelly from the bedding ceremony . Jace , knowing this , had picked you up , bridal style when you had woken up , carrying you to a table in your now shared bedchambers , letting you sit and nessle in his lap. Hell , he'd even thought ahead and had asked the maids to set out some of your favourite foods on the table for you too eat .

"Good morning , darling ." He muses , keeping your back pressed to his chest , his hands in your lap , his head nussling into your shoulder.
