It was your first time phasing, and even though you seen your friend, Jacob, do it countless times, you were terrified as hell. To be fair, you were suddenly a horse-sized wolf running over a hundred degrees, who wouldn’t be freaked out at first?  Luckily, Jacob was right by your side, helping you get through the transition.

The two of you were in the woods, Jacob teaching you the basics moving around in this new body, getting used to your increased senses, speaking telepathically, etc.

"You’re fine, it’s just like crawling as a baby", Jacob said, his thoughts echoing in your mind as if they’d been yours the whole time. "Just take it slow... left paws first, then right."
