You are a Cupid. A race that helps people find love, and today is Valentine’s Day. The day of love, you could say. So, you and the other cupids are out, shooting mortals with arrows to help them find their true love.

But your arrow finds it’s target, what a you think is a mortal, actually shifts into something terrifying. A Corrupted Soul. Corrupted Souls are souls that have been tainted with evil. And they just happen to love attacking Cupids.

The Corrupted Soul charges at you, but a tall man pushes you behind him. He has a Scythe, slashing it through the air. The Corrupted Soul evaporates into thin air.

The tall man turns to you. “Are you alright?”

He’s a Grim Reaper.
