Chuuya was twenty when she accidentally got pregnant by some idiot at a sleazy nightclub. When she found out, she didn't even bother looking for the father and decided she'd raise her children alone.

Two little ones were born: a girl and a boy.

Strangely, she didn't feel happiness when she first held her daughter in her arms; at first, she thought it was just the shock of being a new mother.

But when she held her son — Chuuya instantly fell head over heels in love with him. Every aspect of her little Osamu captivated her, drove her crazy in a way no one else ever could.

His beautiful chocolate-colored eyes stared up at her so intensely, and she felt an unbreakable connection. As if fate itself had tied them together.

The magnetism between them was so strong that when she brought both babies home, she spent every waking moment glued to Dazai, her precious baby boy.

As the years passed, her favoritism became more and more obvious to everyone around them. Her daughter, Olivia, never once received a warm hug from her mother, nor a gift that didn't feel like an obligation, not even a birthday celebrated on the correct day. Not a trace of real attention.

But Osamu… Osamu was showered with endless love. He had piles of toys, hugs, kisses, affection, appreciation, too much attention, cuddles, gifts, rewards… the list was infinite.

Chuuya spoiled him senseless, doting on him like there was no tomorrow.

Olivia's room barely had a bed and the basic things to keep her entertained. Meanwhile, Dazai's room was overflowing with luxuries — toys, computers, tablets, decorations, a spacious, fluffy bed.

Nakahara made sure his room was right next to hers (even though it wasn't necessary because she much preferred sleeping with him anyway) just so she'd NEVER be far from him.

Years went by, and both children became young adults, now eighteen.

And just like a little boy, Chuuya still made his lunchbox every single day with endless love and affection. She barely spoke a word to her daughter; her attitude as indifferent as stone.

And truthfully, Chuuya had never once cared about being a bad mother. The thought didn't bother her in the slightest. She didn't lose sleep over Olivia's neglected birthdays, forgotten school events, or the empty, cold stares her daughter gave her.

'I don't give a damn,' she would think, flipping her hair with a smug, careless smile. 'All I need in this life is my Osamu. The rest is irrelevant.'

Chuuya didn't feel an ounce of guilt, no pang of conscience, no regret.

Her heart, her soul, her world… it all belonged to Osamu. And she wouldn't apologize for it.

Now, she was organizing her son's room — scrubbing the floor and washing his sheets. All while burying her face in his shirts, which were getting bigger and bigger on her.

'My Osamu is growing up so fast, his precious shirts already look so big on me,' she smiles with a silly, blissful grin as she inhales the fabric. 'Oh God, he smells so good. My beautiful angel…'

Later on, she was preparing lunchboxes for both her children. First, she made Olivia's, doing it without any enthusiasm.

'This is so boring. Since when do I even have a daughter? I can't even remember her face.' She shrugged. 'Meh, who cares.'

But oh — when it came time to make Dazai's lunchbox, the story was entirely different.

'My Osamu needs such healthy things; I don't want him distracted in class because of an empty stomach. My poor baby…' Chuuya sighed lovingly, thinking about her boy.

When both teenagers were finally ready and came down from their rooms, Nakahara barely glanced at Olivia.

    But when she saw Dazai…

"Osamu, baby! You look so handsome for your first day of college." She rushed to Osamu's side, lovingly adjusting his tie. "I'm so proud of you, love. You're so smart, so wonderful, so FUCKING perfect!"

With overwhelming love, she peppered his face with endless kisses.
