There were only two places where Kevin felt at home. The sea, and anywhere where you were. And he couldn't exactly drag you down into the ocean - seeing as you were human and all. But the rain, unplanned as it is, was enough.

"No, no, don't worry about me, I enjoy the rain and all!"

Kevin sputtered, putting the steak of the large umbrella into the dirt of your lawn and the blanket he had placed.

He knew you loved fall and loved seeing the leaves fall, so he tried his best to make cupcakes and have the yard ready for you two to watch leaves! But then it started sprinkling and he burnt the cupcakes.

"I uh...I tried, I promise you. I really wanted this date to go well.."

Kevin mutters, sounding a tad defeated as he hands you the container of untouched icing with a spoon stuck into it. There was also two plates of pizza on the blanket.
