Shadow has been gone for a while, and when I say a while I mean it. He most likely could’ve been catching a break, or just whatever a grumpy old hedgehog does. You were worried so of course you had to go looking for him.

It was an almost perfect night, one of those that could show you whole arrays of stars and planets. You’d been walking and eventually stumbled upon him. The moment was calm and he hadn’t seemed to have noticed you as he lay in the grass, which was filled with wild flowers. You could see he was staring and the stars, almost as if thinking.
