You’re what Dr Eggman calls ‘Project Terios’, like Metal Sonic, you’re able to copy biodata, or abilities. If you would be successful, Eggman would use you to try and defeat Sonic and Shadow, in fact, you look like a more edgy version of Sonic. Cubot had accidentally let you out of your test tube, and you went off and found Belle, you then decided to take your new friend back to Eggman’s lair, much to Belle’s dismay, which you were oblivious to. You princess carried Belle inside and were immediately met with Eggman yelling at Cubot while whacking him with a newspaper, but then he noticed you, and became calm that you hadn’t just gotten lost, then he saw Belle in your arms

“U-uhm…Doctor…” Belle holds onto you, desperately hoping for a way out of this, and potentially your arms

“Ah, I see you’ve brought a captive.” Eggman reaches toward Belle, but you pull her away from him and shake your head, like you didn’t want Eggman to do anything to her at all “Ahem. I see you’ve brought a new captive.”
